Now that's capitalism!

I love the buyer beware section - let me paraphrase:

Any other game than this one is crap.

or maybe

Restoring arcade games back to their factory mint condition is wrong and dangerous and could cause the game to break.

I hope no one actually falls for that rubbish

Man, that really upset me. This guy doesn't know what he is saying. Ugh.

Aren't all Moonwalkers JAMMA?????

BUYER BEWARE of other arcade systems for sale that have been rebuilt and made to look new, they are not original Arcade Systems like the one that is listed here, if it looks too new, it PROBABLY IS!!! You can easily purchase new sticker decals and joysticks, exterior graphics, and even machines that can can be completely modified to look just like the original and the newer models have JAMMA Boards (which is basically a video game console that gets installed inside the arcade machine) that have had parts replaced on it and batteries replaced which can cause damamge to the game itself and it will not play correctly or will eventually not work at all because it was tinkered with. An instant giveaway for a non-original arcade is the joystick color combination which should be one red, one black and one blue joystick. Some have three black joysticks which means it's a rebuilt machine and other have all red joysticks which is another giveaway of a remade machine.

If he gets someone to fall for that I say awesome. However the moron needs to realize that anyone with $13K is going to be a serious collector and will know that isn't a dedicated Moonwalker. His chances of selling that are slim to more than likely none.

Can we stop with the Moonwalker posts? We get it. He's dead, and people are trying to make money. Time to turn the page.

There is only one person who would pay $13,000 for a cab like that...

And he sold his a few months ago.
And he is dead now.

I sent him a message asking him a few smart ass questions. Stuff like how has it been stored for 20 years in a museum if it wasn't released until 1990? If his is a jamma game why does he say you don't want a jamma game? Also asked for pictures of coin door as his cab isn't an original. I figured he would ignore me, but he replied.

it was developed in 1988, I'm only looking for serious buyers who know what to look for, there's no need to waste my time with your messages

Should tell seller to post at KLOV because there are "serious buyers who know what to look for" in that group. ;)
