I've found one of my grails. Yeah I hate the term too but I just could not resist. About 2 weeks ago I was contacted by a shop in Tucson that wanted to sell a Stunt Pilot. They called me because of my listing that I wanted one on my list of games here on the KLOV. Who says that the wanted list doesn't work? Most of you know the story of this being one of my earliest arcade memories. I played this with my dad in Vegas in about 73 along with Chopper so I've really wanted on since I got into this hobby. So did I want to buy this ladies? Well you bet I did so I paid her 2 weeks ago and finally my wife and I drove down today to pick it up. Funny this is my very first self pick up as the rest of my collection I had to have shipped here. The inside of the game is the cleanest EM I have ever seen but a few things need a bit of TLC from it sitting. The speaker just farts so it needs to be replaced. The throttle does not work and the paint needs work but I'm still tickled pink. All easy fixes and even with the problems it was still fun to drop a quarter in for the first time in 37 years!!!

PS- I opened the pack of paper that came with it and the damn thing still had a warranty postcard in it. How cool is that :)

That looks really good. Congratulations on picking it up.

I have noticed that in most of my B&W games the manual packet contains everything that it shipped with. I guess operators didn't bother reading the manual anymore than the average guy does today...

Sweet!
I love the old EM arcade games...
Very cool that you get to rewind the time machine a bit with it too!
cheers

very cool! i played one of those, we had a shitty run down drive thru here in my town, and they had a large back room, with a pool table, asteroids, super cobra, and about 20 old EM games, and most of them worked. Burned to the ground one night about 10 years ago.
