Now Here's A Rare Game! Nintendo Sheriff Cocktail

That's pretty cool and really nice. It really does look untouched. $11,500 is steep though.

For 11,500.00 USD you could pay someone to make a perfect replica from scratch. Code and hardware included. :dunce:

Doubt he would get a buyer at a quarter that. Generic looking nintendo cocktail, bronze era gameplay, too obscure to be sought after. A nice upright would bring more. Two grand would be tough imho.

It is pretty cool.

Sheriff didn't age as well as other Nintendo games. The gameplay reminds me of an Atari 2600 game.

Kinda like playing a clunky slowed-down version of Robotron. And playing on those cocktail controls would be the worst.

I love Nintendo arcade games, but I think there is a reason this one is rare.

Lol, I think seller had been shilling that on Kijiji here for awhile, but for like under $1000. Someone must have messaged them to say its worth a fortune. (which is what people seem to do to Kijiji sellers here).

The only reason Sheriff is awesome is the look of the upright cabinet. The cocktail has none of the charm and desirability.

Not long ago i was in London and we popped by to see Alex and his Sheriff collection. It's such a great game. I'd love to have one someday. We filmed a tour of his collection and got a chance to see all three of his Sheriff cabs, the Upright (below), a cocktail, and the only known specimen of the Sheriff trimline cocktail/cabaret. So awesome. Video is in the works for the channel too.

Nice, I'll keep an eye out for the video!

That sheriff cocktail has had new roms burnt and is not worth anything more than £1.500
It is rare but he is asking stupid money.
Well over priced.
Cocktails do turn up and a Tatio version recently sold for £900 here in the uk.
But price always depends on who will pay on the day, it only needs two bidders to push the price up.

It took a couple of days to work it out, but I just realised what that Sheriff cocktail reminds me of:

They're not exactly the same, to be sure, but there is a very similar feel to them.
