It was awesome as always but I was surprised at the amount of games that DIDN'T make it:

Frogger
Q*Bert
Williams Indiana Jones Pinball
Mappy
Pac-Man Jr.
Baby Pac-Man
None of the Pinbot series of pins.
OutRun

Any others that people would have liked to see?

Paperboy :(
NBA Jam
One of the MK's
Golden Tee

(yes, these are mostly new school)

There was no Tetris either (which my wife wanted to play, heh)

If I had known I would have slapped my pinbot back together in tie for the show.

Yeah, what's your problem man, that's two in a row.

I know...

I would have brought:

Multiwilliams
Uo Poko
Space Harrier
Burgertime (Midway)
Time Pilot
Kick
Super Puzzle Fighter
Radikal Biker

and more if needed.

Life got in the way. I chose to step back rather than half ass my commitment. I am hoping I can get back on track for 2010.

I would have brought my Jackbot and Bride of Pinbot had I been able to make it this year. Bummer.

There was a Bride of Pinbot behind the PinScore booth. It was showing off their product line. I must say, it looked pretty nice.

As far as the event......was it bigger, smaller, or about the same as last year?

I heard from a few sources that the venue had a bit less floor space than the park side hall venue but there were more games this year than last year. Not sure if there were more people or just less space this year but Most of Saturday the place was pretty crowded. To the point where you had to wait to get on most games. I opted to leave the venue and go else where when it got busy.

I could have taken paperboy and mappy. They were both in my garage and ready to go.. I thought someone else was brining them.. PLus I had already taken 14.. (space lords should count as 2!) next year...

I don't think I saw a congo bongo there either.
Yeah I would want an nba jam and MK2 there as well.

If we can have 20 linked driving games, we can have these 2 as well.

I made this exact post last year to mention Spy Hunter and DoT. I hate it, because it initially sounds like a jab at the organizers and contributors, which it definitely is not. The show was awesome, so many games and obviously tons of work to organize and set up. Hopefully the post is seen as a "what I'd love to see next year" rather than a complaint.

On that note, I'll second any MK. I loved the compentition on SF2-HD Remix, some MK action would be great.

I was surprized to not see a Smash TV - that one is always great with a partner.

No working 720 was a killer for me. Initially very dissapointing, but on the bright side, it kept me from wasting time playing a game I already play enough.

I also love Xybots, Blood Brothers, Rastan and the wife was hoping for Bustamove.

I think the process of who is bringing what to the show needs to be revamped. Someone needs to specifically handle the game inventory, just as ppl were delegated the layout of the game room floor.... this really should be thought out better to maximize variety, avoid dupes, and have a better idea of what to expect at the show.

Yes, some games die last minute but I think the process can be streamlined much better than it is now.
