How do you know for sure that was caused by loose balls ?

Looks like it broke your game and your camera! That sucks. ;)
I'd also wonder if it was general mishandling and not the balls though.

I wouldn't think balls would cause this on tempered glass. Maybe the cab got tweaked.

Dude. That sucks. When I worked at Aladdin's Castle in '98 someone broke the glass on our Theater of Magic. That was some busy work for awhile.

Just turn it upside down and shake it.

I had to de-shard my Johnny Mnemonic pinball, the good news is that it happened when the game was almost new and stayed that way for 13 years protecting a perfect playfield.

I dont think the balls caused that.. in fact, with the glass installed, its nearly impossible to break (take a hammer and beat the PF glass - it wont shatter!). Loose balls are a no no though - they can wreak havoc on the plastics / cause PF bruises.

Wonder how it happened.

Sucks though - everytime i remove glass i think "this is gonna be the big one right here".

I was just giving the guy shit who I got it from on here. Its usually caused by the forklift not slowing down when it moves the machine so its basically trying to set it down at full speed.

Stupid jackass dock guys.

This shit gets everywhere. I swear people will find glass in this thing for 10 years. We did a pretty good job and got most out already. I took off the two front legs and set it down than just kept kicking each side of the cabinet until it all fell down into a cardboard trap we made and then used a shop vac and sucked it all out.

Good news is the game plays fine.
