hello i have a old black and white boot hill arcade game. when i got the game it lit up but the monitor didnt come on. i took it to a arcade repair place and they messed with it and got it to show a picture. but now the picture isnt correct, you can see the 2 gunfighters but there is white dots all over the screen. the game is sorta like the old tanks game for atari TV systems and each bullet fired you can see going across the screen, but on mine its really hard to see the shot you just made because of all the white dots. the arcade place i took it to told me it cant be repaired and they tried calling everywhere. i figured i would post on here to see if anyone can point me in the right direction. i hate to junk it because the cabinet and backglass are so nice of condition?

Can you take a pic of the screen? Chances are the board has bad ram chips on it. Another possibility is that the daughterboard (the smaller of the two boards thats seated into the bigger one) just needs to be unscrewed and reseated a couple times to clean up the connection.

I can repair these if you're interested, or if you're good with soldering you can tackle it yourself. I'm located in PA so shipping may not be too bad.

The ram chips aren't too fun due to the layout of the traces and how close they are. Even I have to triple-check them with a magnifying glass.
