Not sure if I wanna punch this guy in the face, or shake his hand...

Leaning towards the first one... he took a Sega Turbo and converted it to a secret grow box where he claims you can grow "tomatoes" in the privacy of your home without anyone suspecting you're growing "tomatoes".

Yeah, okay...tomatoes...we'll go with that.

Gotta hand it to the guy for his ingenuity. I used to see this game at the Gulf Breeze flea market pre-conversion, and even offered the owner $50 for it a while back. Interesting to see what the buyer wound up doing with it.

Hey, at least it's not the Star Wars chair...

what happens when you grow some "really good tomatoes" and it starts to stink up your whole garage?

I've been trying to sell my Turbo upright on and off for over 2 years. I guess this is another way to market it. You probably can grow many other types of "veggies" in it. Any interest out there??

I'll go with punch. Turbo's not my favorite game, but I'd rather play it than "grow some tomatoes". :p

I don't get the point. That would completely get found out if the owner really got raided. The dogs would smell it and the heat coming off the thing would be obvious, assuming he even bothered to seal it up to the point that there wasn't light shooting out of every crack.

I'm sure a fuse or capkit would fix the smell issue.

I am not even sure what to say about this thread...........so I will just say Kyrosfear was here...........

I don't usually buy cabs that grow stuff inside them...
Gave away a free Continental Circuit that grew some awesome mold!!! Didn't cost the new owner a single cent.

Man, gardeners getting their tomato crops raided, what's the world coming to?

I'd shake his hand. At least he didn't make a chair out of it.

Punch for sure. Tomato use is still illegal in most states and many people like me don't condone the use of tomatoes. As an employer, I do not look forward to the day when tomato use is legal in my state.

thats exactly what i was thinking. also, 60% of people think those special green tomatoes should be legalized so those of you who have a problem with it are going to have some awfully sore fists trying to change people's minds...

I highly doubt the number is that big. There may be a large number that don't give a shit either way, but 60% WANT it legalized. Seriously doubt it.

The number of people who partake in the Tomato consumption is much smaller than some would lead you to believe. I don't care if my employees do it at home but if they are still under the influence when they come to work they are terminated. And even if its legal, they can't come to work high on tomatoes. I hope they realize that.

I think the vote in Washington was 56% for.

Regardless, it's a stupid use of an Arcade cabinet.
