I'm restoring a Pacman cocktail and am using a generic G07 chassie.
Just had the board serviced by Slava.
Well the problem is that the characters and the board are oriented properly but all of the text is backwards.
I have no idea why this is or how to flip the text.
Anyone help me out with this?IMG_0476.jpeg

Are your horizontal (or vertical) yoke wires transposed? You need to separate the two V wires from the two H wires and flip the two verticals or two horizontals. But whatever you do don't put the H on the V or vice versa. For example (arbitrary colors) if the two vertical wires are red and blue, just flip the position of the red and blue.

I'm not familiar with that chassis. It looks like there are two headers for yoke wires there as well. The one below where you're currently plugged in looks like it's marked H and V. I'm also not sure why the wires are spaced the way they are on your plug, using a five pin housing for 4 wires.

mirroring horizontally on a G07 yoke plug isn't pleasant. the horizontal and vertical pairs aren't together. it's why you'll find them split into 4 different pieces. I think the red and white wires are the horizontal pair, measure resistance there, if it's low ohms that's horizontal. then do grey and brown, should be high resistance, that's vertical pair.

Just pointing out the obvious...Be super careful not to mix up the H and V pairs or you can damage your yoke.

You can swap the positions of either wire within the H or V pairs to flip the screen as long as they stay paired, but connecting an H wire to a V wire will most likely give you unhappy results.

Just clarifying your Vertical yoke wires need to be swapped around to fix the reversed text in your picture,

Horizontal will only need to be swapped if image is upside down compared to player controls.
