Not ready to resto my Star Wars - what should I do to keep it healthy until I do?
I'm knee deep in a Spy Hunter resto right now, and I doubt I'll be able to get to working on this Star Wars until early Spring. However, I'd like to play it until then.
Any suggestions on what I should do to keep it fairly happy (and working) until then? This is my first vector game and I'm a novice on the idiosyncrasies of vectors.
I have heard that I definitely want the fan working over the monitor chassis. However, it doesn't look like I have anywhere on the power supply to plug it into. The ac distribution block underneath only has 6 tabs, so I assume I'll replace it with an 8 tab version so I can get some power to that fan.
Also I'll do some crimping on this wiring hack job.
And what's up this missing board? Was it something for an Amplifone monitor? Mine is a WG w/just a little Tempest burn-in.
I moved it into the basement yesterday. I haven't turned it on since maybe September, so my fingers are crossed.
