FS Game: not mine: neo geo for cheap in IL

This was already posted here

Not much action in the newspaper For Sale section anymore so I had to expand my sources.
I remember when you could embed photobucket pics directly so when you clicked on an ad you got these huge extremely high res pics immediately in the message body.

I have a theory that whoever bought Craigslist was paid exuberantly to flood it with spam from professional dealers etc and basically sink the ship on purpose same times as MP was up and coming.

There's no good reason people would have stopped using that platform in preference to the current status quo

It's weird it's even still around . I mean who's ever on there anymore. Fished out, nothing but memories.

Hundreds of new, local posts everyday for good stuff. I sold a car there earlier this year.

Good place to buy now that people think MP is the only option.

What part of country?

There's never any motorcycles or cars that I see just all profession sales lot type marketing ads.

Chicago area, pretty big market here.
You guys have lots of stuff. Just a hassle to deal with the long drive. But a good place to find stuff for sure.

Craigslist is still way more responsive than marketplace sellers. Not great, but way better. I guess it's because it's a little harder to post stuff so you are more committed to it???? Marketplace is too easy and people just don't seem very serious half the time.

My last FM experience: found a subwoofer in my town. Three days of messages, once per day and no reply. I find one that can be shipped, pay for it and wait. In the meantime the first person always "yeah, I can meet you in 30 minutes" which is pretty short notice but I had already committed to the other deal anyway. Then after 5 days the second seller refunds my money because they couldn't get around to shipping it. Lame.

Didn't want to make another thread for a 'not mine' Neo Geo, so here is a nice dedicated cab for $200 with a 161 version 1 multicart. 2nd player joystick looks like it's in trouble, but the cab looks largely in good shape and monitor is functional.

Heh, ad has been edited, so it's now $600, negotiable if you can pick it up today. The bit about the husband changing his mind (code for finding out about the sale?) has been added too.

Hadn't thought about it too much but I agree. It might be a factor of the higher volume but FB seems to bring out tire kickers on both the buy and sell side.

CL is good for bulky items, furniture, appliances and tools. Arcade games fall into its sweet spot, just the volume is lower than FB.

FB seems to be full-on scams like 80% of the time. Wife listed a washer/dryer set on FB, I want to say the first 8 messages she got were people trying to pull scams.
