Argh, so I see this listing posted today on Craig's List:

http://albany.craigslist.org/gms/1343062121.html

So I send off an e-mail asking what the game was, and here is the reply:

Me: I am working on Friday during your sale. What is that Arcade game you are selling?

Seller: Thanks for the interest in the game, but we actually sold it today.

(I should have stopped there)

Me: Thanks, just curious, what was it?

Seller: It was a baby-pacman machine.

OK that is THE game I want most! :-( Close to my house and I am sure it was cheap. Why did I ask???

So I asked if the guy picked it up:

Seller: Sorry, the guy picked it up already. It wasn't in working condition, needed a lot of work.

He was smart to have picked it up, I would have given up a lot for that game.

Don't get your hopes up to much it had severe water damage and the board was a non-working bootleg. To top it off it was full of cat feces and urine since the seller's cats decided to use it as a litter box.

LOL thanks for making me feel better, I doubt it though. I would have been happy to buy with the cat feces! Yes I wan't a Baby Pac that much. Last time I saw one was the first, I was 9 it was 1984 in Crossgates Mall, Albany NY. So I see it with 9-year-old eyes. Put my 3 quarters in, then was dragged out by my parents.

I missed a FREE working Pac-Man 2 weeks ago by about 30 seconds. A pac or ms. pac has on my wish list for a while now. They don't appear often in Utah and when they do they want $1,500+

I almost cried.

You have to be careful when you get one of those. They seem to multiply when you bring them home.

Was just at the Pinball Warehouse (in Fridley, MN) with my father this last weekend to help him pick out his first pin (he ended up getting a beautiful Terminator 2 pin). Anyways, they had a nice Baby Pac for sale there. Honestly, I didn't play it and I can't remember what he was asking for it... I know, I fail. But, if you're that serious about picking one up you should make a roadtrip to get this one. :)

Yes Fail! ;-) MN is too far, even if I am crazy for that game. This one was on my way home from work.

You would be welcome to visit, no extended say ;-) Kills me cause it was in Schenectady!

Hey... that's where my mom's side of the family is from. I've never been there but I am told there are a BOATLOAD of "Baldwin" folk there...

Humm a 4 hour drive for a $100 baby pac, I am into it, but I am sure other KLOVers will swoop down on that before I could get there.

You should have posted a wanted add local. A good friend of mine has upwards of 200 Pins in stock at any given time and he had a Baby Pac for sale for at least 2 years (gone now though) He went through it and fixed all the usual problems and it worked perfectly for years every time I turned it on! Probably one of the only reliable one's in existence! Lol.

Ahhh dang! Well I am sure if I keep my eye out I will find one someday.
