i am a big dk fan and always wanted a dk2 but didn't want the cost and hassle of building and moving a full side nintendo cab. so without further ado here is not only my first build but also the very first (i believe and if not let me enjoy my moment) donkey kong 2 cabaret!! thoughts, comments?

Very nice cabinet. DK2 is a fun game and Cabarets are good cabinets to have.

Congrats!

Very cool!

I am a fan of the minis and caberets, I like it.

As far as moving a full size Nintendo cab, dont knock it till you try it. They are a breeze compared to Atari and Midway. Think Sentra vs. Town Car.

No joke! I think I'd rather move my car with a dolly than the Dig Dug cab I used to own.Good lord that thing was heavy.

I love the DK cabaret. Very "utilitarian" little cabinet that's a cinch to move around, and takes nothing away from the gameplay of the UR, IMHO.

Mine only has the one coin slot, though. Is that atypical? `Cause most of the ones I've seen have two...

moving the baby pac was a night mare. heavy, awkward, and delicate. so was the tron crystal castles, journey, space invaders, and three nintendo uprights, among others. so let me clarify i wanted a dk 2 but didn't want to move ANOTHER nintendo upright! i know it might not compare to some collectors but the near 30 or so i've moved was plenty! the dk cabaret was a pleasure!
