Not a Tempest!?

I believe I saw that Star Castle on E-bay recently. There was some other God awful monstrositly on there with it, not the Tempest.

What a waste. Those cabinets could have been turned into some really nice lounge chairs. :D

Poor Tempest..

The Star Wars lounge chair is no longer a classic tho...

Where's a good cocktail table to coffee table conversion when you need one ??

Tried of the multicade slammin", I'll be devil's advocate....
Hmmm, Tempest, easy restore:rolleyes:....let's see..repaired working complete Tempest boardset---around$250, Working 6100 monitor $400, AR board $30, rebuild spinner $40, maybe even a new CPO $50...so you will pay $800 for that working Tempest without complaining? Really? So the owner should have dug a hole that deep and hope that someone buys his game? Unless the owner really wanted to restore the game for themselves and it's obvious from the sales ad that the owner is NOT, what's the big problem with him tying to salvage a cabinet that has no realistic finacial restorability. Tempest cabs make nice multicades. I personally will not spend $700-$1000 to restore a Tempest, sorry. A Gravitar, yes. A Black Widow, yes. An Asteroids Deluxe, yes. Tempest, nope.
