Hi everyone!

I live in the Los Angeles area and after sinking $60+ at a little spot next to a movie theater, my girlfriend and I just realized that we both really like arcades. Sadly, we don't know of any good ones. While I was trying to look to see if I could find any, I stumbled upon this place. If you guys know of any cool arcades, I am all ears; if you happen to know of one that has a Gauntlet: Dark Legacy machine then even better.

I hope it's okay that I am posting here even though I am not collector like you fine folks. It seems like an awesome hobby, and I am glad there's a community out there making sure that these things don't die. Thanks in advance!

Plenty of room here for collectors and non-collectors alike.

Welcome to the boards!

Welcome! Not everyone on here is a collector. As long as you have a love of Arcades, Jukebox, Pins you are welcome with open arms.

Arcade infinity in Rowland Heights is good for newer japanese games (fullerton rd exit of the 60)

I've heard nickle nickle is pretty decent in westminster as well.

Just visited Cal Bowl in Lakewood. Not bad. No SFIV though. Pins were Star Wars EP1, Simpsons Pinball Party, Lord of the Rings and Junkyard.

Downtown LA has a few:

1) Japan Arcade in little Tokyo - pretty cool and the area is fun to walk around. I think this is just off Alvarado.

2) Arcade on Broadway around 7th street. This is not as disgusting at it used to be. The urine smell is gone but so are most of the classics. Still has a big selection of mostly 1990s games.

3) ESPN Zone across from Staples center, 2nd floor. This is a brand new arcade with all the latest games.
