Guy in charge of listing a foreclosed house found these in the garage...complete but not working...had no way of plugging them in.

And the Funhouse showed up to work on Thursday thanks to some help from a couple out of state friends..

I must agree HOLY HELL!!!!! My god those are some wanted games, great score. So I must ask do you know some people in that industry of foreclosures cause that's some good folks to know...

I didn't know him before i answered the add on CL.

I made a deal with him sight unseen for the DK3, Frenzy and Star Trek but couldn't get there till the next day (yeah..i know)

The local flipper got to them before I did and I thought I lost them. Apparently he went in with a super low ball offer for a couple games. I got a call back from the guy selling them on the way home from work yesterday and went to check them out.

I asked him what he wanted for all of them...paid his price..and grabbed a trailer. I probably wouldn't have taken them all if I didn't know who the other guy interested in them. I'm pretty sick of seeing games relisted on CL for 3x~4x what they were just listed a week ago for.

Now the flipper is calling me looking for the millipede...gonna have fun with that one

The cabs and side art are in surprising good shape considering the condition of he garage they were in. The games are super dirty probably what protected the side art all these years =)

Star Trek (asteroids conversion) is missing the back door...the Pac has a Ms Pac board laying in the bottom of it... the Berzerk is a frenzy.

PS.. anyone know anything about the M.A.C.H 3 laser game?

Great story, glad you got them. I hate that as well always seeing the local flipper get the cabs or games you want or would rescue only to turn around like that...I used to deal with that a lot back in CA, now I just read about him in the threads here...LOL this time it seems as if the good guy won....

Glad you got them! By the way, when you call another collector asking what you should do, I will always tell you to buy them. Congrats again!

Ha! Always a pleasure John.

Most of the stuff I pass on is because i simply don't wanna move chit around (says the guy that made a 2100 mile round trip in December for a ball bowler =)).

Now that it's done it was that bad.

I actually have a free night tonight as plans just got changed...might do a little cleaning

I don't think so..

The house was a 20kish house..garage was trashed. There is a couple operator stickers on the games which I called..and of course disconnected.

Here's the pics from the original add

Hmm. I wonder if the previous occupant of the house was a KLOVer...

Awesome haul! Good to know there's some goodies to be had locally :)

I went after a Craiglist post for a street sale in Depew that said they had some classic 80's arcade game on the off chance that nobody got at them yesterday. No such luck!

Wow.. I must have missed that one..and it was right in my back yard!

Spent a couple hours cleaning them...the Millipede came up.

I can't believe how nice the side art in on the game and zero monitor burn. Cleaned the snots out of it...went through the track ball and she's purring like a kitten. Was a nice father's day addition to the cookout yesterday.

I went after the ST next..plugged it in..tripped the breaker in the garage =)

Great pile! The Star Trek would be pretty cool if you got it working (same can be said of most Star Treks). I love a good bunch of projects. Its been wayyy too long since I have had any thing like that. Lucky guy.

Yeah...
I knew NOTHING about Star Trek until I found this and did some research.

Someone put what looks like a plastic toggle switch (like what you would use in a car or something) for the power switch. I got my fingers crossed that it's a power issue as it tripped the breaker when I plugged it in

The CP and side are (again) are in VERY nice shape...the monitor has zero burn. It looks like a pretty low play machine...maybe I'll get lucky with the power switch =).

It's my first Sega game...so I'll have a bit of a learning curve

Kinda weird..I got quite a few machines down right now but have tons of motivation to get these running. No idea why..probably cuz I can work out of the garage and not the basement...kinda like being outside
