NOS wico leaf sticks.. What are they going for these days?

PartyGT had a bunch, but never heard back or saw a price.. I've got a couple brand new 3.5" red ball leaf wicos and I'm about to pick up more.. I also have light blue 4" wico sticks too.

Thanks for any info.. Not looking at eBay pricing, more interested in realistic collector prices.

Thanks Matt.. That's what I was thinking.

As for seeing NOS complete leaf sticks for $20.. You might be mistaken, or thinking about 8-way mico switch wicos.. Those can be found for less, but not the leaf ones.. Especially the red ball sticks. Also, there are guys here who sell used ones for $15-25.. Some were posted today at $25

There were 4 NOS leaf switch sticks from the same seller that recently went for about $26 in 4 separate auctions:

I had contacted the seller and offered $75 for all four (he politely declined). I missed the auction, but somebody (or somebodies) got some good deals.

I don't think those are Wicos. Not sure if they are the cheap leafs that are being sold now though as they may be something else.

$35 to $45 is what I usually sell them for now. >$50 is just price gouging, IMO.

Total crap

Yeah, those are garbage "Wico Style" leaf sticks. Made to look like wicos, but are far from the real thing. I accidentally took a couple of those pieces of shit in on trade a little while back.. Seller wouldn't send me pics but told me to trust him cause he knew what nos wicos looked like. Yeah. I promptly sent them back.

Mikesarcade sells them too I think.. Guess if you don't have a clue and just want it to work (if your lucky) then those cheapo sticks are good for you. I like my games to look, feel, and play like they should.

Sorry.. Still pissed about that "wico style" trade..

I paid $25 each shipped for a pair of NOS wico 3.5" leaf joysticks, though they were green, someone over at BYOAC put them up, I think he sold a dozen of them at that price. That was about a year ago. I bought a pair of light blue NOS 4" sticks from Bob Roberts to use them for Robotron, he has those and purples for pretty cheap.

I paid 50 apiece for NOS robotron style wico 8 ways. felt really happy with it because they are smooth. not some worn out rough stick at 25 bucks. plus the grommets are perfect, considering they are close to 20 bucks apiece when found.

a 15 used stick with an 18 grommet seems like it's easier to pay 50 for a NOS one and be done with it. :)

Grommets

Does anyone know what the difference is between the midway grommets and wico ones? As I have a few nos wico ones in front of me.. Some are for 3.5" sticks and the others are for the smaller diameter wico sticks used in most classic taitos, gremlin, stern, etc.

I don't have a midway one in front of me, just the picture on twistedquarter.. The one in the pic looks just like the smaller diameter ones I have. I even pulled apart an original stick that was in a jungle king and it looks like the midway grommet.

the only thing i can think of is different diameter bearing in the center (that the stick goes into), could be just different bushing rubber tho (there was a lot of talk about the different rubbers in another thread).

Anyone have a link for some that would be suitable for robotron? I have some with micro switch but am thinking I should switch back.

Thanks very much
