Can anyone in the know tell me whether or not they think this is legit?

I thought I was in the know about this stuff but it just cannot tell. The marquee decal looks repro as does the CPO but then again its difficult to tell from a photo. The side art looks original though.

If it is real, I have not seen this come along in well over 10 years.

Auction ended now :-( but still curious to hear what others have to say.

I think I answered my own question.

Original NOS CP:
Notice the blue in the helicopter window:

Original NOS side art:
Notice the half orange/ half white tone in the Data East copyright at the bottom:

Original NOS marquee:
Notice the glossy appearance of the decal as well as the blue in the window. Glossy art doesnt shrink:

Now compare it to the art on Ebay. Its definitely reproduction!

Good detective work. But, let me ask this... how do you know there is not a difference between Data East's dedicated Cobra Command (double-bent marquee, like dragon's lair) and the conversion kit produced to install into games like Cliff Hanger and Astron Belt? The art runs could have had differences. Not that everyone on eBay is honest... ;)
