So where is this located exactly?
Care to share what you know? Do you know anything about the physical condition of the games?

Stop beating around the bush, if they were yours, or you think they were yours, spill it. If they were stolen, or you think they were stolen, etc, spill it![]()

Shenanigans!Nah, no spillage going on here. Lets just say I know where some of that stuff came from. Its all been long written off so theres no issues there.
Who ever goes to grab the stuff say hi to Tom for me!
Matt
Matt,
Did you know an operator that was just a block or two north of the SJ airport? I bought my first Space Duel from an operators warehouse there.
-VJ
Yup, worked for him for 10+ years. I may have even sold you that Space Duel. Was it dirt cheap? Do you recall what year that was?
Matt
I have the receipt around here somewhere and will look for it... They had a sign on the side of the building that said arcade games for sale or something along those lines. So I just stopped in on my lunch break. I'm thinking 1993 or so and I bought the Space Duel for $400. It was in pretty nice shape but it had to be repaired before I could pick it up. Monitor probably just got capped or something since it was a little off before hand. It worked until a couple years ago and that is when I found KLOV.
I tried to find the location on Google Maps. Was it on Lafayettte near the railroad tracks? I remember something about being on an overpass or underpass in that general area when seeing the sign.
And lets just say he had quite a few Mr. Do's sitting around from what I recall.
Edit: 1708 Lafayette St, Santa Clara, CA, United States is where I think it was.
-VJ
93... Yeah, I was working for Jim at that time but at night as it was my side job by then. The address was 1777 Lafayette Street. The building is still there but its been converted to swanky ass apartments. I really had a ton of fun working there....

Poor Tom , he told me today when I was there that some kid kicked him in the back over 50 cents and now hes disabled because of it . I could tell by his walk his back got jacked from it . I think hes pretty bitter about arcades now .
Isn't that crazy !??
Anyways I use to play some of these games back in the day at the local movie theaters in Newark and Fremont , like the 720 , stun Runner and X-men .
