NORCAL: free empty star wars cab, not mine.

Ugh! Wrong coast. I want to make a SW project my next thing, too.

With nothing inside? That would be an expensive project. I'm guessing you're better off finding a complete one for sale unless you have all the parts already.

Though, I'm not one to go to places where the seller has to point out that it's a "safe neighborhood." Haha.

Well around Mills is one of the "okay" places in Oakland. Actually looking at the picture, I swear that I've sold stuff to either that person or their neighbor.

I was delivering a game 10 min away, so I had to stop and see. It was still there, so I got it..

The game is in pretty bad shape. Cabinet has screws holding it together. the game is on wheels and the back door is now hinged to it (like taito cabs but only on the outside).. I think someone was trying to mame it as they built a monitor shelf for an LCD and changed the tinted monitor glass to clear.

Sad as it looks like some just cut the wiring harness out (some pieces still attached to cab at the mounting screws).

I would have left it, but it had a half way decent marquee and I could use the frame for my esb marquee.. The control panel and the monitor bezel are half way decent.

If anyone wants the body, let me know. I can take some decent pics. Your cab would have to be pretty bad for this one to be better... If there is no interest probably will crush it next week.
