Not really. I'm about an hour and a half away. ...But I have a family event tomorrow that I'm obligated to - otherwise I'd take the time to drive over there and check it out. I hope that this deal is real and some lucky KLOVer gets it and that is doesn't end up somewhere as a hacked up MAME cab.

Hey Tronguy - I finally recently joined VAPS. I've been collecting for about 3 years now and love it! I have two boys age 11 & 9 that also enjoy my hobby/obsession. I think you had a Nintendo monitor I asked about recently, then you sold it - I was slow to pull the trigger...

you can have the tube and frame for free if you want. you would just need to get a chassis for it.

I think Muel is talking about the CL person with the Tapper that was all the sudden removed shortly after I e-mailed them. I see on another thread you have a Major Havoc conversion. I need to see your collection - sounds like you probably have a lot of cool stuff?

I've lived in the Sacramento Area since 1983 (except for OKC, OK 1994-1997). Have you been in the area a long time?

Remember some awesome arcades?

The Game Room in Citrus Heights?
The Mine Shaft in Folsom?
Sam's Town in El Dorado Hills?
The bowling alley on Watt Avenue?
The other bowling alley on Fair Oaks/Manzanita(I think)?
Scandia at Madison/80 (still there)?
The one I remember seeing Dragon's Lair the first time was I think at an arcade at the corner Madison & Fair Oaks (I think...)?
There was another arcade at the miniature golf coarse near Fair Oaks (can't remember the name)?

There was a Zoo Keeper at the 7-11 near my parents house on the corner of Auburn Blvd & Van Maren. Almost every day I would stop in there on my way home from school and play at least once. Good Times - Zoo Keeper is in my top 3 to purchase eventually (if I can ever find one)............

I lived in Folsom from '91-'99, so I missed out on "real arcades".

Mine shaft was technically Rancho Cordova, wasn't it? I used to go there all the time. Its where my obsession for NBA Jam started. Sams Town was awesome, too. It was there I became obsessed with Street Fighter II.
Was the Game Room in Citrus Heights, the little arcade they had at Sunrise Mall? Whatever that place was is where I played MK all the time. There and 49er Pizza in Folsom. They had an MK1 forever.

I think you're right - the Mine Shaft was on Folsom Blvd. in Rancho Cordova (close to Folsom).

The Game Room was in Birdcage Walk across the street from Sunrise Mall. There was also an arcade in Sunrise Mall, but BCW was better for me - I could see my BMX locked up just outside the windows!!

Another first time I remember was the dedicated Major Havoc at the Cinedomes (Greenback/hwy80).

I see you picked up a Zoo Keeper last year - how much for might I ask (where in CA)?

I might have to just build a multi-Taito in order to get my own ZK (not the same, though)...
