I have an empty arcade cab, and also a tv, which i could remove the screen from it. If i would one day decide to buy a pcb, what else do i need for it to work(exluding the control buttons) ??
as the title says its a noob question,
thanks in advance

Easiest bet is to just buy a video converter which runs the RGB signal into composite/ S-video/ component. Runs around $40

However, the composite signal looks like ass. The s-video looks good. The component signal look the best, but you'd need a good enough TV for that to work.

no i mean parts like power supply...

Something like this...

You wouldn't wire your TV into this though. Just the PCB.

Look at this diagram...

If you really wanted to, you could wire the TV power cord into the distribution block. I would just get a power strip with a long cord, mount it internally, and then plug everything into that.

Less chance of you electrocuting yourself.

EDITINIG TO ADD...

If you are using a TV, you DON'T need the isolation transformer pictured in the diagram in the upper right.
