Noob question- rotating picture on a Nanao MS8-26SU

Hi guys,
I have a Nanao MS8-26SU monitor in a Vitrua Cop 2 game. The picture is not level, meaning I need to rotate the display slightly counter clockwise.

I've searched all over on the net and have not been able to find a manual for this monitor. Does anyone know how to make this adjustment on this monitor?

Thanks in advance!

I guess you mean you need to rotate the yoke a bit. The manual wouldn't help with that anyway.

Look at the yoke on the back of the tube. You'll see a tension screw that keeps it from turning. It should be tight now, and you'd just need to loosen it, grab the yoke with both hands (one on each side) and give it a bit of a twist to break it loose (best to do that with the power off), then turn it slightly. You can touch the yoke while power is on and not get shocked (unless you also touch the chassis or anode cup).

A mirror or friend will help in lining it up. Just make sure that when you retighten the screw, you don't overtighten, or you might break the neck. Just get it tight enough that it won't turn pn it's own....

Thanks for the detailed answer. That worked like a champ.

Now I just need to search on how to fix the slow warm up time of the monitor. It's very dim and out of focus for the first 10 minutes after powering on. I just recapped it, and that didn't seem to help...

Sounds like rejuvenating the tube might be the next step.

I know I read the fix for the dim Nanao a few months ago. I thought the probable issue was a bad cap or resistor on either the tube or neck board.

Unfortunately I can't find the post now that I need it...
