Thief has its boards and its cassette player, but unfortunately no tape.
You can convert it to use an MP3 player instead of the tape player, as an FYI.

First game I messed with was the Neo Geo. surprisingly the games on the marquee cards matched what carts were in the mobo.
Firing it up it looks like all the games are working, the monitor is just acting up. Its a Hantarex
The H & V sync make a slight difference but does not lock it in. Its almost acting like a standard monitor does with it gets a med res signal. The contrast pot on the remote board is smashed and seems to not make any difference.
There is also something going on with the sound, there is a pc external speakers board hacked into the speakers behind the marquee.

LOTS OF FUN. Don't fuck with the tape player if you don't have to. The MP3 conversion is where it's at. I've done both. MP3 all the way. Lepy fa life. That being said, I may have a Thief tape.
Thief was my go-to game at Grinkers (along with Eyes). Nice grab!

The problem with the MP3 is that it always starts at the beginning of the sound clip, the tape could start at any point in the 8 minute length.
If you have a tape I'd love to get it.
I'll also need to find a CPO and a bezel.

The Ms Pac is in way nicer shape than the one I have so it'll be replacing that.
The G07 is totally dead and the board is making a screeching sound.
I found its has a twobits kit installed in it.
I'll have to hook up another monitor and see if that Diagnostic ROM says anything.

Last game I messed with last night was the Thief, I was a little worried because of the entire back door being covered in boards.
I plugged it in and found that the monitor was extremely dim but there was something on screen, the H sync was off. After adjusting it I realized it was on test mode.
And it actually works!
