Non-Working but complete Moon Patrol

got it.

but the original question was about the value of this moon patrol. sooooo prob not a great reflection of larger market value considering not even a majority of collectors in this hobby have your same...interesting bias. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hmmmm..... old non working Moon Patrol with no picture of the game. Site unseen...so far... I don't believe $100 is out of line, regardless of my perceived interest bias.

one sold working with wear for 1450 here a few weeks ago. restored one previously sold @ 1500 here few months before that. so 100 seems to be an out of line valuation for a non-working complete moon patrol imho.

fair to ask why that valuation & you chose to lead off with an uncommon stance on licensed games. im just painting the picture w/the evidence at hand. 🙂 no harm meant.

No way anyone is going to get an unworking MoonPatrol on the east side of the Mississippi for less than $750. $100? I wish. I spent $100 at Home Depot on a gallon of paint and a piece of siding. It isn't 1993 - and even then when I saw one one in college the guy wanted $500 and got it.

Just remember that games ALWAYS look better in pictures.

Be prepared to be shocked how much worse the cab looks when you go to see it in person.

It can be very difficult to do, but I wouldn't make any serious offers until you see the game in front of you.

I went to look at a Crusin USA that was listed on marketplace or LetGo. Seller sent me lots of photos and told me the diagnostics passed. When I got there, the photos that were sent, cropped out the chunks of wood missing and water damage. It failed most of the diagnostic tests and wouldn't boot. I had to tell him I couldn't pay $600 for it, which at that point he angrily walked away and left me in his home unattended. I had to see myself out :X

^^^ Very true. Also, never inspect a motor vehicle you are interesting in purchasing in the dark...

I bought a Moon Patrol in the condition you described for 40 bucks. I replaced the PCB and had it up and running right away, then sold it for 450 bucks. That was 5 years ago. Today, I'd say double or triple those numbers.

I once had a cocktail moon patrol that I would kill to have back . Personally I like the game and think it's worth checking out
