No wonder I never built one of these.

Way overpriced, my MAME machine is in a bigger cab with a 25" monitor and trackball and has 9000 games on it and was only around 1000.00 to build and did not take me 120 hours to build, some people are just tripping. Thanks for the laugh.

Ha funny, when mine is all said and done ill have about 300$ in it...including, pc, cabinet, monitor and controls/interface

Most people who build MAME's can't even put a PC together on their own...require overpriced store-bought PCs (Or prebuilt customs), ArcadeVGA cards and store-bought interfaces for controls (Or an X-Arcade).
This is why you will find way overpriced MAME cabs, because there IS "that much" money in them. Doesn't make it worth it to you and I, who find easier...cheaper ways of doing it all.

i got allot of my junk of craigslist for super cheap or free

that is total BS. I built from mine from scratch and had the side decals custom printed. It has every mame game available, total cost about $600-700

In the first post, I'm pretty sure that's just a Konami Contra-type cabinet, he didn't build it or anything, so I'm not sure how he spent quite so much money on it.

Thanks for the positive comments about my mame cabinet everybody. I means alot more to me coming from here than it does from byoac.
