That might be of some help.

This is just a guess, but I'm thinking the black/white/green wires coming from the board are your power inputs. That seems to be standard for most ac wiring. I'd wait for another opinion before trying it, but I'd bet that's your ac inputs.

So I'm guessing I have to get a powercord. Strip it. Then attach to the three cords?

Lame. I have no solder skills. :/

If you have or buy the correct tools and connectors you can put crimp on ends which will require no soldering and make it easy if you ever want to remove the monitor. If you are just gonna splice the wires together then you might as well just get some twist lock wire nuts as they go on easy, hold good and if by chance you want to remove them and replace with the proper crimps and connectors you can remove them easily.

thanks for the reponces

ya im very novice when it comes to the arcade wiring work..well im very skilled with the computer work..

i have a crimping tool.. but can you guide/link me to the best bet if i wanted to..lets say

turn those 3 wires into a standard wall plug?
that possible?..i believe thats what it used to be..

what sort ofm"proper crimps" or "wire nuts" should i look for?
anything at a local radio shack or hardware store?

thanks guys!

That third picture with the 3 wires in your hand.

Originally as supplied by Neotec, those three wires would have had a 3 pin AMP brand connector on it for your AC power.

Black is AC 120 volts (hot)

White is AC 120 volts (neutral)

Green-Yellow is earth (frame) ground

Somewhere along the line, somebody simply chopped off the original connector and probably wire nutted a power cord onto it.

This monitor does not need an isolation transformer and it can be plugged into a common wall outlet.

Here's one that might work.

Get one of these from a computer or monitor...

Cut off the female end...

Connect the 3 wires, already color coded, to your 3 wires...with 3 of these...

Wire nuts...you can get anywhere....

WalMart has 'em. You can get 'em for a few cents. I'd bet WalMart has a small pack for less than a buck.

The power cable? WalMart. I just suggested a computer one because you mentioned being slick with computers, most computer tech's have lot's of those cables laying around. If you can't find a computer one, buy the shortest extension cord WalMart has. They prolly have a 3' or 6' for like...$4.

Lowes, HomeDepot, ACE Hardware....really...almost any store that sells anything will have extension cords and wire nuts.

Home Depot carries the wire nuts in the electrical section. The Gray or blue ones will be ok for the size of wire you have.

Computer style power cords can be purchased at office supply, computer, or Radio Shack stores.
