I am picking up a machine tomorrow that, and I will quote the seller after I asked her about it, "no there is a wire just not an end the the two prongs and ground. It was hard wired into the wall so it was taken off.."

Any idea what I am working with? Do I just need to cut the end off of a power strip or something? How will I know which wires are which to attach?

Thanks!

Run to walmart or home depot, and pick up a three prong tip in the electrical section. Strip back the cord, and you should see a green black and white wire. The Green goes to the ground, the black goes to the big prong and the white goes to the smaller prong on the tip.

Someone confirm for me that the black goes to the big one and the white goes to the smaller prong. I get it confused. It should take 2 minutes to put a plug on it. Make sure you have a knife, to be able to strip the wires... and a philips head screwdriver.

The white and black are interchangeable but people usually connect black wire to gold/brass colored terminal and white wire to silver terminal.
