i have been messing with future pinball and vpinball on my pc for some time
i have been using it to test a pinball before i went to go purchase one

i used my genie as a template to build the body (so i can use a wide body gottlieb lock down bar for the front)

whats left
drill and install flipper buttons
cut a hole for the coin door and install one
drill holes for the legs ,paint the legs i have , and install them
wire up a keywiz ,and speakers
build a back box and wire up a 27 inch lcd in it
then paint and enjoy lol

i know most of the pin heads will boo and bash but hey for a spare time project im having fun

pin heads

nice !
cant wait to see it
what color you going to stain it ?

now if i was to make comments i might type:

at least there wont be any playfield wear at the top where the ball enters the playfield
-or-
if you seal up the box with silicone it could double as a mobile bathtub

If I may make a suggestion. Decase that LCD. Build a support underneath for it to just lay on top of. I'm sure that weighs quite a bit and I wouldn't worry about it moving around. If the LCD goes bad, it's not locked down and easily replaced.

Very cool - keep going!

really not shure on what finish im going to give the cab i was thinking of doing some sort of stencil but stain kinda sounds cool as well

its more like a coffin lol
while i was building the box sitting inside it screwing in the support rails i was thinking man a few inches longer and i could be in a coffin lol

ps you going to be downtown tommorow if so swing by with that sound card i pluged mine in after rebuilding it just to see if the chip was bad and it was lol lots of magic smoke

its a floating setup right now

i removed the back shell and its sitting on rails so t can slide in and out (works just llike a original playfield lft up the front and it slides twards you )
i was going to remove the front plastic as well but the way the lcd is made the metal shroud that the brains are attached to are actuall screwed into the front plastic peice

I'm working on a smaller version of a virtual pinball setup myself. Using a 27 inch playfield and a 22 inch back.

i was originaly going to do the pin in a allied cocktail pin using a 27 inch but with the 37 incher for 150$ i changed my plann quick lol

here is a shot of the game select menu

its a sob to configure but it looks awsome
