I'm getting no picture coming through the two composite inputs on my Sony PVM-1441QM.
The other inputs all work fine (RGB, SVIDEO etc.).
I hadn't actually used the composite inputs for quite a while, but I'm pretty sure they used to work.
I tried various input sources (PS2, VHS camcorder), making sure they (and the cables) work (they work on a different PVM I own).
I tried to connect a SCART adapter to the RGB inputs. The adapter also has a socket for composite. Here I'm also not getting a picture, but I'm not sure if this is actually supposed to work.

Has anyone encountered this problem before and knows where the problem might be?

Caps and a reflow. Yes have had this exact issue before. When doing composite it just goes completely out of sync but it works fine with everything else.

Caps on which board though?
Hard to say every model is very different. I had this on a 19". You'll find a blown cap somewhere. You're going to have to figure it out more than likely on your own.
