No Interest in Older Pins ?

New Member here.

I like EM pinball machines. My favorite pinball machine is "Wizard" from 1975. But I stopped playing pinball at arcades in the early 1980s, so I don't know if I would like the mid-'80s and newer games better.

Fortunately, I found a Wizard pinball machine for sale locally. Bought it in Feb., 2009 and I will definitely keep it.

I was at the arcades a lot during the 1970s and played many machines. In addition to Wizard, some other of my favorites were Fireball and Bow & Arrow.

Here are some photos of my one and only pinball machine...

EM's always get played here....more so than SS games. If you don't like them...fine...but don't knock them, especially if you've never played them. Most of you guys who seem to hate them never really played them, when you do you go in with a "I'll play it,but i know i'm gonna hate it" attitude. It's all pinball....if not for EM's,there would be no new stuff.
Agreed.

I have played several em's and they are fun but none I have come across yet that had an art package I would like in my game room. I only have two pins a fireball II and a taxi. I am considering getting a DMD pin as well, and if I do I should really consider an EM too.

I think it would be neat having a line up that had an EM, early SS, Alpha numeric, and a DMD.

One day I when I have more space i guess.

And my opinion comes from someone who is only 30 and never saw an EM in the wild
