Where can i find the 2 gophers??

Mine are beat, and could use some friends

Could try placing an ad on the mr. pinball classifieds or try rec.games.pinball

Are the beat up as in broken? or just the paint is all screwed up?

-Hans

I had mine painted by a local artist and they look fantastic.

Mine are just beat, I could clean them up, but would like a pair of new ones

Well, if you decide that a repaint is more to your liking, drop me a PM or an e-mail. You'd be surprised what a little bit of epoxy filler, some scribing, and fresh color can do for that sort of stuff.

Yeah, just repaint them. They're just pieces of plastic w/ paint...even if you get new ones, they'll get beat again. Pat Lawlor occasionally puts spares on Ebay..but they sell for quite a bit. I even added some details, like the black area in Bud's mouth, highlights on the eyes and nose... :)

Here's mine that I repainted:

If you decide to repaint them check with the automotive store and see if they have these particular colors available in what they call a fabric spray. That stuff bonds to plastic like nails. I'm not exaggerating one bit. I used that spray on some light guns for a MAME cabinet and banged the barrels and used my finger nail to try and scratch them and I couldn't get them to scratch. Great stuff.

Those look great!!!!

i might just pull mine out and give them a try, i suck at this stuff though

Hero, did you get the decal for the slam ramp??? How did you keep that area so nice???

Yup, that's the decal! ...put mylar over it just to be extra safe ...and the bottom of my slam ramp has some of those adhesive green felt dots on the bottom where it usually digs into the playfield.

Also, see the extra spotlight I added to brighten up the spinning disc area? :)

That's a nice looking Gofers!

I'm about to get started on one that smells like a smokey bar farted in it. It is a mess all around, but it should clean up nice. Just put a new opto on the wheel and on the putt kickout, so no switch errrors... but boy is it a mess!
