I can't believe the fake laminate sticker came off so easily...it is a sign that this machine should absolutely be returned into a Robotron....

I totally agree with this statement. that stuff usually take all the paint and everything else with it when you peel it off. Thankfully for you the guy that put that on didn't use the right adhesive. It' looks great!

just got the marquee in today ..... couldn't wait, my pics are a little fuzzy but it has some black paint on the back (little distortion to the top blue line and barely can see specks under the yellow middle angles). seems to be spray paint from a hurried inside cabinet painter? any ideas if this is safe to remove with that orange smelly paint remover? or something else. really concerned about damaging the marquee so i may just leave it alone for now. looks good lite up now. can't really notice the black under paint too much unless you really look hard. must get rest more robotron parts (robot voice) .......

Not sure whatcha asking here? to see if it's the original robotron one? checking now. hhhmm interesting.

Yes, operators will flip a bezel upside down when they convert.a game it is always worth checking to see if that is the case. I have also seen where they don't flip but mask it and paint the outside black, and all you need to do is razor the black paint off to discover the original artwork.

yeah it's definitely a repaint job but I don't think the original bezel art is there. could be wrong but held it up to the light and don't see anything underneath but I may razor off some paint to double check. thanks for the tip, thinking the operator may have used the same bezel but either stripped or removed the original art somehow.
