Have a No Fear and am having two minor lighting problems. First off, My GI lighting in the backbox.....the top two rows are lighting extremely dim and not to their full potential....traced the wires back to J121 and tooke the connector off and examined it to see if their were any burnt pins. All looked good. Put it back on. Turned the pin on and still the same thing. What else could be the possible problem? Secondly, my hurry up light on my no fear will not light up. I changed bulbs/sockets and it didnt help. Followed wires and everything checked out good their. Even pushed the copper part up in the socket to make sure it was getting contact with the mini circuit board and nothing. Cleaned the circuit board contact as well. Not a huge deal as its only one light but what else could I possibly check? Thanks! :)

GI lighting goes from transformer to power driver board and off power driver board to sockets.

So check connectors at transformer, and to and off power driver board. At power driver board wiggle the wires/connector and see if things brighten up. If so time for new connector and pins on the board.

The single bulb on a pcb, reflow the solder on the pins the connector plugs onto, that usually fixes such problems.

LTG :)

Don't forget that there's a transistor that controls each "color" turning on and off. I mean color of wire, not color of lightbulbs. They're attached to the big heat sinks. So if there's nothing else, check your bt500E's and see if all the feet are attached, and they all have the same resistance from foot to foot.
