Back from the ashes, the Ninty row begins to slowly rise. It's taken a while, but my little wall has begun to fill out a bit with a cornucopia of Ninty Goodness. Only 4 more to go and she's complete!!

I never realized the CP of a widebody cabinet was taller than the standard Nintendo cabinet. I thought it was just wider, and the speaker was in a different location. Interesting!

It's a good thing most of us have more than a 5 minute attention span. What's it like to live a lifetime in your first year of collecting?

Hee hee. Pretty funny comment.

Row looks good! I miss my row of two (or two that were side by side) but when your limited on space it's nice to mix up the collection a little bit.

Yeah, when I sold my restored DK and DKJR within like 2 months of each other a few years back, I thought I could just restore new ones to take their places in a few weeks. Well, nearly 3 years and 3 Ninty restos later and my row is still sans the 2 that started it all. I have cabs and nearly all the parts for them, but I lack time and motivation.

It's bitchin'. Really dig the Popeye, even if it doesn't get all that much respect in the gaming community. Popeye was everywhere when I was a kid and no arcade would be complete without one.

For me its the lack of time...I think the lack of time deprives you of motivation since you don't want to spend that one free day you get every few weeks working on the game only...:D Lately, I've taken the approach of doing one or two small tasks when I have a free hour or so and I've actually gotten a lot done in last few weeks...then you don't seem like you have as much when you go to do the cab work since you can already have stuff done like repainted coin doors..or powder coated brackets...or buffed marquees and bezels and redone cpo's...and hard to find parts already on hand so as to not slow down the restoration...

I'm actually almost done with all the projects I had in the living room..and I can finally move on to the garage for the cab stuff this spring and summer..time permitting..of course.

Beautiful man. I love how the Ninty rows line up.

...And MADBALLS!!!! Holy crap...I used to have a bunch of those. Classic.
