Any ideas on this? I haven't investigated much yet. It's running a new 15amp switcher for powe supply. Looks as if it lost sync?

Horizontal hold pot in center of the Sanyo chassis is where I'd start.

Is that at vr451? I think I have adjusted one of those before. It was working great up until now. Freshly capped monitor.

Is it common for these sanyo 20ez to fall out of adjustment? This one is a friend's. It's been out on location for a few weeks.

Sanyos are fantastic monitors. By capping it, you changed things. What was in adjustment before the cap kit could be out of adjustment afterward.

And yeah, they can fall out of adjustment and sometimes (but not always) a different PCB will require an adjustment.

He's having to dial it in nearly everyday. Guessing by play, the pot is vibrating out of adjustment or perhaps the pot is going bad???

Generally I'd reflow the solder on the pot and turn it all the way to each extreme several times to clean it. If that doesn't resolve it, I'd replace it. Could just go ahead and replace though since he has to remove the chassis to reflow and that's never fun on Sanyos, lol.

If it's loose, replace it because they shouldn't be loose. I'm sure security0001 would have it.
