Hi guys! What is the recommended sockets when fixing the Vs pcb's? Especially if putting daughterboards in. I appreciate the help.

Replacement sockets for the main board to be used with daughtercards is going to be hard. They will all wear out. Amp was the one that made the style on the pcb and those are pretty hard to find.
Any high quality name brand dual wipe socket is your best bet with the center plastic support, but plan on replacing them if you plan on swapping daughtercards more than a few times.

Smash your daughtercard into a new socket, then insert both into the OEM socket on the PCB. I like to use "Adam tech" brand sockets.

Vs daughterboards are the worst.... how hard should I push? Harder. How hard? Harder. Just push until the pcb says "ouch".

I don't think the non-machine-pin pins will fit in a machine pin socket in the context of Vs daughter cards. For normal CPUs, sure. But not the daughter cards.
Confirmed,, the brassy pins with wider legs of the Vs. Dr. Mario, Vs. Castlevania etc that I have will not fit in Machined (round) pin sockets.

I was just about to edit my post to say I tried it, the pins are physically bigger. Thanks!
