Hello -

This is my first forum post. I wanted to share with everyone my restoration done on a Nintendo Vs Red Tent. This has taken about 3 months to get to this point. I simply came up with the concept. The work was done by other people with much greater skills.

The artwork was completed by Ridic Graphics. My friend Rick did an amazing job. The paint job was done by another friend Pete at Fock Kustoms. Again, I really only came up with with the concept and these guys did all the work. I am very happy with the end results. I hope you guys it.

I am including the Before and After pictures. It had a lot of dents, holes, and rust as you can see. Those were all pounded out and welded.

Didn't expect that when I clicked on Red Tent restoration, but it is an interesting concept. Have to admit I kind of like it and would almost want to just run a playchoice in it to have Mario Bros on the Mario Bros side and maybe run another PC10 and have Donkey Kong on the DK side :)

I like how you matched the button colors. Very nice :)

Actually, I had originally listed this on Craigslist because I am moving in May and was thinking of the heartache to transport this but decided to keep it. I really enjoy playing it. Plus I recently added wheels to it so it's very easy to move around.

Thanks for the compliment. I was actually thinking of converting it to a 19-1 to play Mario Bros on one side. Unfortunately, DK wouldn't work because this can only play horizontal games. Or at least that's what I understand. For now, I'll keep the inside original.

++ for saving a red tent from the parts bin. nice original outcome for the paint and graphics.

Thanks Rick! These pics are before I messed up the control panel. The new artwork will look great. You did a great job!!

I'm ambivalent. I really like the artwork and the tip of the cap to a Nintendo cab, but something about it just doesn't work with me. But, that's my issue, not yours.

Good job, it looks very polished.
