Can a unisystem harness be modified to work as a dualsystem setup? I'm guessing a dualsystem harness just uses the extra pins that aren't populated/used on the edge-connectors of a unisytem harness, for the extra monitor and second set of controls.

And doesn't a dual-cab use one power supply?

Can some one show me a pic of a dualsystem harness please?

If you're wondering, I'm trying to make my own vs. dual system using 2 seperate cabs (a Unisystem & a PC-10) and extra Nintendo parts I have. Don't worry, both cabs will remain seperate and dedicated. If I can mod my uni-harness or get a dual harness, I should only need to extend the 2nd set of video and control panel molex connections from the vs. pcb in the Unisystem to the monitor and cp of the PC-10 cab (or any cab using a Nintendo inverter/sound amp from mikesarcade). What do you guys think?

I don't know any specifics on the wiring, but the dualsystem does use 1 power supply. it just has like multiple harnesses that output to its own set of monitor/CP/coin door. you could actually use a dualsystem board in a single monitor cab, you just won't see anything going on for one of the game romsets :)

there was an awesome resource out there for everything about the Vs. boards. I suck at saving links though. run a search on here, you'll probably find it. it was from no more than 2 months ago.

It is just a matter of adding the extra wiring to the secondary side of the edge connector... I may still have some spare vs harness pieces from Vs. -> nintendo classic de-conversions that'll at least give you the right connectors and wiring for the 2nd side...
