Nintendo Vs Gun Light Sensor

I haven't opened many, but all the pink ones I've opened have had the Nintendo Optic PCB. It got me wondering if the LE game worked with the Nintendo Optic PCB, or of they were all the "replacement plastics" scenario.
Even the screws were the Gamebit kind.
And every pink or blue Ive opened did not have a Nintendo pcb in it.
It is certainly possible since lethal enforcer guns were often switched out for a happ gun, that OPs then used the casing to "fix" a Nintendo gun. They took alot of abuse, thats why nintendo added a rubber tip guard as an option.

The lenses are interchangeable. At least for the orange VS gun. Mine was missing on my duck hunt so I stole one from a zapper. The blue/pink ones are plastic.
I might have been thinking about the rubber revolver lens being smaller, regardless yes it may work and yes it may fit, still doesn't make it interchangeable if one was designed for glass and one was designed for plastic.

My orange gun works just fine.

Just pulled out the zappers.
The lens (and barrel weight) also fit. Spacing is the same, opto PCB will work if modified, lens will also work.
The zapper lens is plastic, but is sized/focused proper.

I forgot to comment this. But I was able to use the Zapper sensor module. The only issue is that it doesn't physically fit into the blue shell. You can trim the board with a pair of flush cuts, but that was kind of hacky.
