I have a Nintendo Vs Goonies cab that was a Dkjr. I was wondering if it was an easy conversion to Mario bros and what I may have to change out to do so. I was told I just needed the board set and the control panel. Any suggestions or info is appreciated. Thanks for helping.

You also need the correct wiring harness, bezel and marquee. At least the monitor is the correct orientation. I think someone was just selling a Mario Bros kit yesterday in the FS section.

Actually Phet, I'm pretty sure the monitor is orientated wrong.
OOps, sorry Phet......I need to read entire posts :0
Phet is correct.....I actually had Donkey Kong Jr. on the brain.

Hahahahahahaha, I knew you were gonna say that. I'm like Who The F*ck hacked my man Edward's account? Shit just wasn't adding up.

It's getting late, and I got up way too early this morning.

.....and you must have fast-ass typing fingers!

Well I don't just use them for typing if you know what I'm saying. Anyhoo, yeah OP, what I said the first time.

This may be an absurdly stupid question, but what exactly is a wiring harness?

It basically the bundle of wires complete with edge connector and molex connectors that plugs into a given game and supplies power and all game inputs. From the PSU to the marquee light and game board(PCB), from the board to the Controls, coin mechs, and monitor. In some cases like JAMMA, many games use the same or similar harnesses. In this case, you need a dedicated Mario Bros harness as the pinout and controls are unique to the game. A Nintendo Vs. (Goonies) Harness is no where near plug n play with a dedicated Mario Bros. It is, however, plug n play with a Vs. SUPER Mario Bros which is a completely different game than Mario Bros.
