I bought a working blue Nintendo Vs. Golf about a month ago. Here are the results of my efforts. I started by taking care of some structural issues with wood glue, screws, and finishing nails. Then I applied wood filler and sanded. Next the entire cab got two coats of oil-based primer, the blue areas got three coats of oil-based DKJR orange, and the black areas got three coats of oil-based flat black. The side art wasn't too bad and I didn't feel like spending extra money on the most boring side art ever, so I masked around it with painters tape, trimmed off the excess with an xacto knife, and just painted around it. Then the coin door and the upper and lower marquee brackets got one coat of spray primer and three coats of black appliance spray paint. The coin mech front plates got one coat of spray primer and three coats of flat light gray spray paint. Next I used an orbital buffer and some Novus to remove most of the scratches on the bezel, cleaned up the CPO and marquee the best I could, polished all of the exposed bolts with steel wool, added new t-molding and a coin sticker and it's done. Now I'm going to convert it to a Dr. Mario.
