I picked up a non working Nintendo cab a few weeks back. Currently has a Hogan's Alley board in it and horizaontal monitor. I want to convert this back to a Donkey Kong and paint it red. It still has the L brackets for the vertical mount but none of the cross pieces. I have been hunting around and have been unable to find these. Quarterarcade makes a repro kit but it's like $45 bucks. Anybody have a cheaper alternative? I suppose I could just get some angle iron and drill holes in the appropriate places. Does anybody have dimensions and hole locations for these brackets?

You just need to pick up 1 inch slotted shelf brackets and cut them to length. Then span the inside of the cab from L-bracket to L-bracket and mark the monitor mount holes when the monitor sits on the shelf vertically. Then drill them slighly smaller than some 1/4 or 3/8" self tapping sheet metal screws.

Go down to Lowes and buy a small piece of alum angle about 2"x2"x24" cut to length and drill your holes.I've done this twice and it works great.
