Ok I have a DK mini the monitor is dead. I rebuilt it and was a no go when I discharge the tube you can hear the voltage crackle so the flyback works. The tube however has no neck glow what so ever which makes me think the tube heater is toast. So what I have decided to do is use one of my small monitors and mount it in the game. I was going to use the audio AMP and a video conversion PCB I have from another SANYO monitor to do everything. Problem Is I need to know a few things about both PCB's pinouts.

First the audio PCB:

Connector JC has 3 wires that reconnect into the monitor what are they? The black wire goes to location E1, Brown to TP91 and red to BK. I'm guessing they supply the Power to the audio amp I know where all the other connections go. My only guess from looking at the schematics is that the black wire goes to ground.

On to the video conversion PCB:

So looking at the PCB connector AA at the bottom is inverted video in easy just plug the PCB right into it. I however need to know what the pinout is for AD non inverted video out. Also what is the one red wire for at the top connector? It does look like there was another wire in there at one time.

If I have all this I can hopefully get everything working and still get the original Nintendo sound with the original amp.

Ok I found this picture and it basically tells me what I need to know about the inverter PCB. That is assuming that each video out has the same pinout as the video in does which it might. Just need to know about the Audio JC connector.

No neck glow has nothing to do with the flyback. If you can't get the monitor working yourself i would just sent it out to someone who can repair it and save yourself all the hassle. The inverter pcb required i think 16 volts but i believe it can run on 12.

Have no desire to pay someone to fix it at the moment Wouldn't even be worth it after getting it fixed and shipped back and forth. Personally I find SANYO's incredibly irritating to work on I have a bunch of other monitors ready to go.

Yeah the 12v did work and I have one piece of the puzzle solved now. Just need to know what the Red and Brown wires are on connector JC.

Had to wire it into my test rig to confirm it was working but got the correct colors with 12v.
