Just curious when you ordered? I'm pretty sure the cpo, marquee, instruction underlay, instruction sticker ect should all be ready to go. Unless you ordered late in the game I would think you would have those already.
When I spoke to Rich at CAX he mentioned that the hold up with the bezel was that he had to print the bezel larger due to the bleed of the color and cut the plexi down. Said he was only getting 2 to 3 bezels cut down a day but hoped all would be ready to ship by the end of this month.

My only guess is that he's trying to finish off the preorders that were from around March 08 before getting to the orders that came later. I would assume the side art went out because he was rolling all the side art and it just made sense to try and get it all out rather than only ship the pre order side art then wait on the orders that came later and ship more side art at a later time.

Makes sense to me, just want to get the pieces to finish! Then again, who else would take on this challenge? No one jumped up to do it. I am waiting patiently....as much as I can.

I'd just continue to be patient. Many of us ordered it Feb/March 2008. My cabinet was at your stage since November/December 2008 but no side art but had the CPO, Marquee and stickers... The finally the Bezel and side art showed up about a month or so ago (two shipments).

Can't say if Rich will hit his goal of having all the bezels cut out and shipped by the end of this month or not but if he does then I have to imagine that the bulk of the orders will have been completed which should mean that orders like your that are still waiting for most of the parts would be shipping soon. I would venture a guess that you would have your whole kit by the end of August. This may sound like a bit away but consider that I pre ordered in March of 08 and just received my last major piece of the art yesterday. Only thing left is the serial # plate if he is still planning on running them. I sure hope he is!

Side Art is the only thing I am currently missing (and the Serial # Plate if he does those, which I hope he does, as that would make it complete).
I've received everything else and it all looks great.
As soon as I get some more room in my garage and it cools down a bit (read Oct or Nov at the soonest), I'll start working on it. I'll have two cabs to work on at that time (I have a real DK cab that I'll restore to my DK, and the cab my DK is currently in (a converted PP) will be converted to the DK II.

I know what you mean with the heat! I've been finishing up a Punchout for the last few weeks!

Yeah man, we've all had to be patient and it is hard for sure... LOL. I ordered (and paid) for my kit on July 22, 2008, and I've just now gotten my bezel shipment information, so it's been a waiting game. I'm not sure if the sideart and the serial # plate are included in my enroute shipment, but I'm hoping so, because I'm still needing those two parts in addition to the bezel.
The quality of the parts and the workmanship are 2nd-to-none, but just understand that there are likely lots of us "in front" of the currently-ordering customers (such as yourself assuming you ordered in April 2009 - I couldn't tell by your statement) that are still getting pieces and parts - I'm sure that Rich is getting caught up though now that he is shipping the bezels.
I'm just tickled pink though that Rich has done this kit w/ Jeff K. It's an awesome opportunity to build a very unique cabinet.
