I just bougth a red tent and it works great i decided to restore it and put new paint on it i finished the mario side with no problems so i start working on the duck hunt side, i took off the control board to re paint it black and the cover to paint it red while the paint was drying i decide to play mario well all of a sudden the duck hunt music came on the stopped and then started making a buzzing noise, so i restarted the machine the music started to play the all of a sudden the buzzing noise came back. Do you think its because i unplugged then gun for duck hunt, because on the gun it says ALARM will sound if gun is unplugged.

I nned some info on this problem.

Yea, made it home ok besides the rain it stayed pretty dry all that got wet was the game instructions behind the plexiglass but i got them dried out. I figured out why the alarm was goin off there 2 different plugs that where the same on the inside of the cabinet i just had the wrong one hooked up but its all fixed now and everyone loves it.
I'm going to post some pictures of it, i got most of the small dents and dings out of it and all repainted.

Thanks alot for the red tent.

I'm sure i will be buying for you again.

Ill have pictures posted tomorrow, i still cant beleive how good it looks now that i repainted everything. On the base of it i mixed things up a bit to break up the black, i painted the cash boxes red and also the other axcess panel red. Nothing against Ted the game was in good condition when i bought it off him it just need a new paint job.

It looks like you are addicted already. Just a year ago that garage was empty. Now I can't even move around in there. When you are ready to restore another you know where they are.

I had fun restoring this one, it took about 6 hrs to take everything apart sand it down and prep it properly for paint and then reassemble everything, and me and my brother moved it from my garage into the basement of my new house which is going to be my game spot.

Here are the pictures of the refinished red tent.

Whoa dude, that's nuts. Not sure about the red coin doors, etc. but it sure does match that room! Congrats on the paint job, it does look good.

Id like to put a gun on my red tent, how does it play?

Many klovers are pessimistic about the utility of playing ducking duck hunt/ hogans alley on a red tent...
