*** FIXED! ***

Turned on my red tent this morning and both of the monitors are flickering like crazy.. almost a wavy pattern... you can still play the games but it would be hard plus I dont want to keep it running like this so I turned it off. Any suggestions? Im guessing its a power supply..

Yep, I checked the V and H holds.. today I turned it back on and now my power supply is making a loud noise.. both screens are going crazy but games are playing fine... so it has to be the power supply since its both monitors doing the same thing. Now I just have to figure out how to wire one of my switching power supplies in it. Which means I have to hack the wiring and I dont really want to do that. But I am sure nobody has a old power supply and if they do it probably wont last long anyway. Ugh..

I will bring up my extra Nintendo transformer on Sunday.

This sounds similar to what my Red Tent was doing when I purchased it. The monitors would have a distorted picture and noise was coming from inside the cab but it would always go away pretty quickly. Hopefully this isn't related to your cab, but mine had one of the monitors' yokes fail not long after.

Red Tent is fixed. I took the power supply apart. (PP-1100A) Wrote down all the capacitors it had in it. Went to local electronics store and bought all new ones. ($17). A few of them I had to get just slightly higher volateges, but the UF was the same. De-soldered old ones and replaced with new. Also replaced the old fuse. Red Tent powered right up perfect.. been playing it for a few hours now so I think it was a successful fix!
