Nintendo red "tent" cocktail - $50

WOW $50 is an AWESOME price. I can't see how it lasted 10 min after he posted that.

If he would have shipped it, it would have lasted 2 mins. I honestly don't get why people wont ship things? Buyers set everything up, and all you do is meet the driver (much like you meet a buyer) at your house.

Oh well.

Yeah a Red Tent would be real easy to crate also. You can find pallets any where.

I am heading to Reno this weekend, if I can talk my future father in law to extending the trip I will be knocking on your door. From Reno to MO is just a little further right?

One day guys we will all get one of these.

You don't even need to crate it. The movers I chose just blanket and shrink wrapped it. Put it in ther enclosed truck and dropped it off at my door. Simple as that.

Did I mention the seller only had to wait for the driver to come pick up? :)

I have a trucking guy picking up a Golden Axe 2 dedicated in Texas.
He's going past Missouri and said that he could pick it up.

PM sent... I could have this picked up in the next day or two.

*** Take 2 = My previous attempt at this post didn't show-up...

Wow! I love all of the responses to my post. There is a tentative deal for the game, but if that changes I will post here pronto. As it stands, I have 5 offers for the game, including local pick-up and shipping. I wasn't aware any shipping companies would pick-up a game without it being palleted/wrapped and that was why I didn't want to ship it. My goal is to get the game in the hands of a collector whom will appreciate and restore the game.

I will be attending the grandview auction next month. I sent a pm but have not heard back.

Holy crap, a third person from Lincoln? This is a great board :)

What day(s) are the auction? Do you have a full group or do you need an extra set of hands to carry?

Originally I was going to post this before reading through the other pages, if this is still an option, let me know:

I might be able to get on board for this, depending on how soon you plan on starting the journey for it. I don't know where Scott's located for sure, but I planned on doing some business down towards KC in the next month or so. Depending on what I might pick up down there, and if I'm picking this up, would determine what vehicle I'll need to make available for the trip. I have the room to store it since I haven't started my arcade yet(hence the trip), I could work with the 1-20 week time frame. No wife or kids to worry about, so it would be safe. And no stairs to deal with, off load it, roll it through the garage, and straight into the room. Can't get much easier, unless you have a lift gate, lol.

Heck, if there's a fellow KLOV'er close to me that wants to road trip and has a truck/trailer readily available, I'd be down for a journey. Maybe Scott will have something to start off my first game.

It'd be a 3 hour start towards the west coast anyway. Let me know.

Alright. The current person in line has passed, so if anyone else is interested, please PM me. Several of the original requestors have declined due to shipping costs, so local pick-up is probably back on the table.

I'm not a big red tent fan but I'm coming up for the auction next Sunday. If its unsold by then Ill consider it, though I'd rather see it find a home with a red tent fanatic.

Any photos?
