Anyone interested in a Nintendo red "tent" cocktail? It is completely untested, has two monitors (one is removed at the moment), no games and no circuit board. The cabinet is in decent condition overall and could be made to look really nice. Both CP are populated. How does $50 sound? I will not ship it so local pick-up is needed.

I will have pics later in the week once it comes back from storage.

The local Kansas City, MO (Grandview) metro area auction is coming-up next month and I'm pretty close to the auction place if someone wants to come by to get it.

fuck that

I'll take it. someone needs to start hauling this thing towards the west coast and drop it off at the nearest klov member.

eventually it will work it's way out here I suppose

Yes, really. I can charge YOU more if you prefer. :) I got a good deal on it and would like see it go to a good home where it will be restored and appreciated. It's a classic and should be restored IMHO. My other option is the auction next month.

As I said, I have done nothing to it, not even plugged it in.

Very tempting, but I've never been much of a Nintendo guy. Do you have a web site or anything describing the auction next month?

Thanks,
Dave in Des Moines

ok, anyone west of scott who is going to the auction next month and can house this game for 1 to 20 weeks speak up.

I am going to start a trek of this cab, to my door.

or maybe I am not.
it sounds good though.

That would be fun to see. Everyone that has it could through a little something (nice) into it to show its trip across the county.

now we are getting somewhere. Scott is on board. Someone west of him speak up and let's get this started. :O)

id be all over helping move it around, but im in columbus ohio so i dont think id be helping much but heres an idea.

to promote moving it across the states id suggest do it like this.
said current holder of it wants to go see some games at XXXX's house, he drops it there, so forth and so on. over and over till its in cali! it would be interesting to see how long it would take heheheh

Scott, if you're up to it, you can work with someone if they use uship.com.

The buyer would pick a service provider to come wrap, pickup, and ship the red tent at no cost or extra work on your part other than to be there for when they come to pickup.

Just a thought as it seems like there's a lot of guys willing to pay, but distance is an issue. If your only issues with shipping a game is to have to wrap it up and drop it off at a shipping location, uship.com pretty much negates all those things.

I don't mean to sound like a commercial, but just being honest based on my recent experience with it. Also, hoping this can give an opportunity for one of these guys to get it and save it rather than some random person at an auction.

Either way, best of luck on the sale. :)

OMFG!!! is it gone yet??? iv been trying sooooooooooooo hard to get a red tent!! PM SENT if its still 4 sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it were about driving to Mizzou, (i.e., Columbia) I would have probably already gotten it. Kansas City is four hours west of here, Columbia is only 1.5 hours.
