Works great. About 27" wide by 8" tall.

$200. Pick up preferred. I'd rather not risk shipping it. I can ship for $250 via buyer's preferred method and take pics beforehand. It may be additional cost to double-box if you prefer, but I have yet to get a quote.

SOLD PENDING PAYMENT

Been wanting this sign for a while now. Have the Blue on silver, and the Red on Black. But the White and Red has alluded me. If it was 200 shipped I'd seriously consider it. But I also have an auction coming up next month. Oh well,.....bump and best of luck on your sale.

Whats the story on these neons? I see them (or at least similar ones) on Ebay occasional. Are these modern reproductions? Part of store displays from the 80's?

Still available?

Most of the signs on eBay are third party LED or lit signs. Some are neon but not many are official I don't think.

As far as I know, this is an official Nintendo neon sign meant for store display. If it's not official, it's definitely top quality. Picture of serial sticker attached.

I've been told that double-boxing via UPS is a good safe way to ship this, but I also heard that can be costly in addition to just shipping it. I'd have to get a quote, but given the risk and additional cost of shipping, I'd really prefer not to ship unless a buyer is confident in their preferred method and are willing to pay the additional cost if applicable.

Most of these signs were store displays in Gamestops in the 90s. But there are about a dozen variations that have popped up so far. My favs are the neon. Easiest one to find is Blue neon on a silver background. Then there are the Race track neons. Red on Black and Red on White. Not sure which is more rare. I've seen more red on white, but I think the red on white is the most desirable as it is most like they Nintendo logo everyone knows. The others are various plastic or plastic with fiber optics that were used in the late 80s early nineties around the time of the SNES. Those say World of Nintendo. Anyone who ones one of those believes they are made of solid gold as they usually get listed for 900+ on the bay. I don't think they ever sell for that, but that's what people ask. There's also a few Gameboy neons and some LED neon looking blue signs that's much newer and often cheaper.

Most of what's on ebay is chinese knockoffs by producers like Gu(look up tron neon). Its not really worse. They are neon and he has done some good work. But most are smaller. And their not really collectible.

This concludes today's lesson on Nintendo Signage as a form of kick ass game decor.
