I have two original Nintendo switching power supplies. One works and the other doesn't.
The only thing I know about the non-working one is that a few years ago I had it in a DK cabinet that I had installed both Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.
While I was working on the game the adaptor I made to allow switching back and forth between the two boardsets partly slipped off the finger board that connected it to the main harness, which resulted in a smell like something was burning.
I guess it's time to get back to it and I was wondering if anyone can point me to a cap list for these power supplies so I can at least shot-gun the non-working one and probably re-cap the working one before it fails anyway. (There is a third power supply in a game that I sold to a friend about 8 years ago may need to be re-capped soon also).
Lastly, a pointer to those who fix Nintendo power supplies would also be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
